北朝鮮によるミサイル発射を受け、米国のブッシュ大統領はすぐに国務長官・国防長官と安保補佐官を召集して、対策会議を開き、日本では未明の4時30分に安保関連の閣僚たちが首相官邸の危機管理センターに集まった。韓国は午前7時30分に国家安保会議常任委員会を開催した。

それは今回のミサイル発射を前後して韓国が見せてきた対応によく表れている。
国連安全保障理事会は昨夜緊急会議を開き、北朝鮮ミサイル問題を議論した。またホワイトハウスのスティーブン・ハドリー国家安全保障担当補佐官は「われわれは多くの準備を行った。これから24～48時間の間に様々な外交的動きがあるだろう」と話した。実際、日本は直ちに北朝鮮の貨物旅客船、万景峰号の入港を禁止した。
一方、韓国政府にもまったく反応がなかったわけではない。政府は「賢明でない行為に深刻な遺憾の意を表明」し、「直ちに6カ国協議に復帰するよう厳重に要求」する声明を発表した。もちろんこのような大韓民国政府の声明が北朝鮮の耳に届くことも、米国を振りかえさせることもないだろう。
身の程を知らず、世界情勢を知らない無知と錯覚は北朝鮮のほうがさらに上を行っている。北朝鮮はこれから自らの無知と錯覚の代償を支払うことになるだろう。
結局北朝鮮の核開発問題に続き、ミサイル発射問題においても南北はともに孤立無援の境遇を辿ることになりそうだ。

話を戻してｗ… 何というか「韓国の有力紙って、産経新聞みたいのばっかりだなぁ」というのが第一の感想ｗ 「今まで築いてきた北とのパイプを活かして、話し合いで解決しよう」なんて新聞はただの一つもない。反北なのか、反共なのか、反盧武鉉なのか、反ウリ党なのか、親ハンナラ党なのかよくわからないけど、とにかく「盧武鉉政権は無能だ」と書きたいらしい。盧武鉉の支持率が高かった頃の論評を読んでみたいものだが…
あと中央日報によると、北はミサイル発射前に、今回のミサイルが落ちた海域に対する船舶航海を避けてほしいという声明を出していたようだ。つまりテポドン２号とみられる三発目も失敗ではないのではないか。日韓中露米に対して、「我々のミサイル精度をもってすれば、大都市や原発を狙ったピンポイント爆撃なんて簡単なんだよ」というアピールという可能性が高いのでは？ あるいは、「ウリナラのミサイルの精度は抜群ですよ！」と武器輸入国に対するアピールかも。その辺は日本政府も了解済みのはずだが？

韓国の新聞の特徴をまとめると、こんな感じです。
・朝鮮日報はハンナラ寄りの激烈保守、慶尚道寄り。
・中央日報はハンナラ寄りのとりあえず保守。三星財閥系新聞なので、当然慶尚道寄り。
・東亜日報は抜け殻のようななんちゃって保守（昔、ハンギョレに革新系記者が多数移ったので)。なんとなく慶尚道寄り。
・ハンギョレはウリ党・民主党支持の革新系（日本の革新とは違う）。あきらかに全羅道寄り。
他にも現代財閥系の文化日報、統一協会直営の世界日報などいろいろありますが、省略(笑)

朝鮮・中央・東亜の三紙は、盧武鉉政権発足当時からあまり好意的でない記事が多かったですが、時が経つごとに批判がエスカレートして、一時は毎日盧武鉉こきおろしキャンペーンが続いたこともありました。
でも盧武鉉支持者は当時はたくさんいたわけで、彼らは主要紙の購読拒否をしながらネットで活躍してました。韓国のネットの影響は日本より大きいので。
ハンギョレは、「新千年民主党の内乱→ウリ党と分裂」あたりからちょっと元気がないようです。日本批判以外は(笑)。
