福井赤十字病院（福井市）で８月、入院中の男性患者（２８）の見舞いに訪れた知人の男性に、女性看護師が誤って点滴を打つミスがあったことが、６日分かった。同病院によると、８月３日、看護師が男性患者の個室に入り、患者の名前を確認したところ、ベッドに寝ていた知人男性が「はい、お願いします」などと答えたため、信じて点滴を打ったという。当時、男性患者は病室にいなかった。
点滴の直後に看護師が病室に戻ったところ、患者本人がいたためミスが判明し、すぐに点滴を止めた。健康に影響はなかった。
看護師らは知人男性に謝罪。知人男性は女性と２人で男性患者の見舞いに来ていた。
同病院の入院患者は、名前が記入されたリストバンドを付けているが、知人男性は手首を見せたがらなかったため、看護師はそれ以上確認しなかったという。
副院長は「リストバンドの確認を怠り申し訳ない。職員の教育を徹底したい」と謝罪した。（共同）

文面だけ読むと、この知人男性が患者のベッドに一人で寝ていたわけでしょ？ で、看護士が名前を呼んだら「はい、お願いします」と。こりゃもう、悪意をもって騙したわけだから、本来ならこの知人男性に謝罪する必要はないでしょ。
もちろん、こういう取り違え事故を防ぐために病院の内規で「リストバンドで本人確認を行う」と義務付けたのだろうから、患者（？）が拒否したからといって口頭確認だけで点滴してしまった看護士に何らかの処分は下されるのだろう。しかしそれはあくまでも病院内の問題であって、看護士を騙した知人男性に謝罪する必要はないと思うが。
記事にはないが、病院側が謝罪だけではなく金銭などを渡していたのなら、患者・知人男性・知人女性の３人が共謀した「当たり屋（刺され屋？）」事件なのでは？
そうではなく、間違われた知人男性も「いや、僕の方こそ悪かった」ということであれば、患者と知人女性がやってはいけないこと（病室を出るとか、無断外出とか、ここでは書けないこととかｗ）をしたいから、その間の身代わりとして知人男性を呼んだ、ということかな？ とすれば、妙に親近感が沸くが（笑）。
